LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Oct. 9, 2012) - New York Times bestselling children's author Sally Lloyd-Jones and world-renown illustrator Jago have teamed up to release the highly anticipated Thoughts to Make Your Heart Sing. Available nationwide TODAY, Oct. 9, 2012, through Zonderkidz, the innovative collection features 101 simple-yet-profound thoughts on faith from the award-winning duo who delivered the bestselling children's book, The Jesus Storybook Bible.
Thoughts to Make Your Heart Sing is the perfect follow-up to Lloyd-Jones and Jago's The Jesus Storybook Bible, which was first published in 2007 and has since sold more than 740,000 copies to date across its three editions. With a strong Facebook and Twitter following, Lloyd-Jones has built a loyal fan base for the brand, one that has garnered numerous awards and accolades.
Featuring the engaging and whimsical artwork by Jago, Thoughts to Make Your Heart Sing shares profound truths from the Bible that are easy for children of any age to understand. Drawing inspiration from creation, history, science and the writings of great thinkers and writers, Lloyd-Jones encourages reflection and conversation through words and image - all working together and designed to do one thing: to make the reader's heart sing.
"We want people to know that God loves them with a never stopping, never giving up, unbreaking, always and forever love," says Lloyd-Jones. "Through the text and beautiful art, we want readers to discover that God seeks to know them with an amazing and grace-filled love."
Lloyd-Jones is a leading writer of inspirational books for children, with an expertise in conveying biblical truth to young children. She is the author of three bestselling children's Bibles, including the Gold Book Award-winning Baby's First Bible and, most recently, the Moonbeam Award Winner - The Jesus Storybook Bible.
